I'd use red. You can use the garden variety Rustoleum from Home Depot. They make it in a color called "Sunrise Red" that works well. I have painted the calipers on two different Corvettes with this paint, and it works fine. Just clean the calipers with denatured alcahol first, then paint. Then post pictures.

With the 6 spd, the rears have to match the front, black. If its the auto, then go with a red, or black. Don`t cheapen the car with those "glow in the dark" colors. Too cheap!

Is there some reason he can't paint the front and back a different color?

I think you misunderstood me (sorry - I should have been more specific)

I didn't mean a different color from each other. I meant, why does the back have to match the black on the front? Why can't you paint both the front AND back a different color than the black on the front. Like red front and rear. If you read the post I responded to, I think it will make sense.

Paint them? Get them powder coated.

You should get them powder coated. It looks much better and it will never chip off or fade. You have to send them off which could create a problem if you don't have another car. Prices would be about $99/pair for four piston calipers.

Find out more HERE.

ROTFL!!!!

If you are able to you should also add little "Hello Kitty" decals to the calipers and maybe one on the rear bumper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That would be brill!

im actually having a similar problem, i dont knw what color i should paint mine. i have a black...i was thinking either black or blue, becuase black is the color of the car (and it looks nice on the a-spec) and blue is the trim color of choice of the TL (a lot of the trim lights are blue, plus i replaced the map lights with blue LEDs)...i would say black, because red to me seems out of place on the car. i guess seeing it from outside would look Ok, but if someone were to look at the outside and notice the calipers, then come inside, at least i personally would think it looked a bit strange. i duno maybe just me. i say blue or black.

I'd go blue on black.
