What can I expect to go wrong with my '07?

I have an '07 TL with only 108,000 miles on it. I would like to know what I should look for as far as major repairs to expect with a car that old! Every scheduled service has been done by my Acura dealer!

since it's a FWD vehicle, the front suspension gets beat up pretty badly.
specifically the bushings that are found on the control arm and other places in the suspension.

the rear brake calipers, sometimes like to sieze up...due to unchanged brake fluid, which is hygroscopic and absorbs water from the atmosphere, leading to rusty brake caliper.

the Hands Free Link likes to go bad, which will have a parasitic drain on the battery...IF it goes bad.

Has a tuneup and the Timing Belt and Water Pump service been performed yet?

Timing belt has been replaced Water pump has been "inspected", whatever that means!!

Had the HFL disconnected last week due to the parasitic drain. I will have the front end bushings checked the next time the car is serviced!

Enjoy the car!!

just to note; the water pump is plastic and can deform. if you find coolant leaking, check to see if leaking from left side (passenger side)

The '07 has the updated auto transmission so it should be pretty solid. Regardless, keep up on fluid changes and go easy on it when you can. Use DW-1 ATF. That's assuming you have an AT. If you have a manual, use the GM/ACDelco Synchromesh Friction Modified fluid.

I wouldn't worry about a thing. Keep up with the regular maintenance and make sure the car is getting GOOD inspections. Not just the minimum to pass for the sticker. Keep up on any issues and noises that become apparent and enjoy the car!
