What is better?

Going on a road trip soon from Nor Cal to Canada and wanted to protect the front bumper.

I can get a car bra from someone on craigslist for 40 bucks

or

tape up the front and side mirrors with blue painters tape.

What do you guys suggest?

I'd say get the bra, a bit more protection than a painter's tape - just make sure to take it off when you get to your destination

I have the OEM bra and from the looks of it, i have strong faith that it'll protect my bumper on this long drive i'm about to take.

I'm going on a trip from Canada to SoCal in 2 weeks.

Neither. A plane ticket instead. Haha

Seriously though, the bra. Be sure to apply a nice layer of wax to the bumper before putting on the bra.

Althought, I've drove from LA to Vegas, LA to SD, and then LA to Bay Area (twice), I didn't have front mask, but, sure... I'll get the OEM....

the only thing is, my friend mentioned the bra traps small debris underneath that might scratch the paint. Is that true?

How hard is it to even install the bra? I was looking at the acura e-store from the stealership and there is a huge price discrepancy from the part itself and the part w/ installation.

If its easy to install I will put it on during the drive and take it off once I get there.
