Check black market for sure...and ebay. You can find em. And I agree...I thought the reds looked dated and one of my friends that isn't into cars said it looked like an accord from the back. When I put on the type S tails he said it looked badazz and like a spaceship. Lol. Either way. I'm happy. Got hooked up from a member on here too...$105 bucks shipped for both of them. Had some surface scratches but I buffed them out and they look nice!

You could always cut them open and do something original, but I'm not into that idea. At least, not yet.

Yes, bumper is uneven cause I was installing them. I didn't remove the entire bumper...just some screws in the rear wheel well to pull the bumper out and down enough to get to the 2 bolts in there. Then pulled back the liner and was able to change those. Probably not more than a 45 min. job including transferring the LED's.

i really do like the look of the type-s tails, but the one thing i dislike about them , and all others like it, is they are the reason why every car company now insists on adding excess chrome around every trim piece. its ridiculous how much fake chrome is all over the 4G TL, it makes me sad. it should be subtle and actually add to a car, not a requirement to make it look good. its hard to even notice the lines of a car with all the added plastic bling....ok, i am done

i agree that the red tails on WDP looks good when there is direct sun on them, but otherwise they look kind of dull,boring, and dated with the wdp. I am one that dislikes the 07/08 tails as well and will maybe look at going with the type s and modifying them. I'm not a big fan of the euro craze either, so maybe a blend of the red and type-s like "ROB Ril" mentioned will be the ticket.

Although the smart thing to do would probably be to put the $200 towards something else and leave the ruby red tails as is.

Funny, I was thinking that too...was even thinking of putting my reds back on...or doing something different to them. Maybe eventually.

If you see a white TL, there is a very good chance it's WDP (unless it has been repainted).

Actually, looking at the TL-S tails on a NBP, I kind of like them. An AM TL would probably benefit as well.

IMO 04-05 TL tails are sexy and those LEDs....dayym. haha jk. Seriously though I don't think there is anything wrong with them, I do like TL-S tails better though so I would probably go with those if you don't like your tails. TL-S tails on WDP will look sweet.


The #1 prize for the most HIDEOUS tails has to go to..........

06-07 Infiniti M35/M45....those tails are FUGLY & huge!!!

I dunno, I actually kinda prefer the 04-06 ruby reds than the 07+

I have an 08 and I'd probably rather have the ruby reds. Then again my tails are smoked now and I'll keep it that way until I either end up clearing the tails myself or getting them done.

If not, I might be willing to straight trade with someone with ruby's who want the 07+
