On WDP, I'd do the stock red but tinted to make them more cherryish. IMHO.

I tend to agree with the OP. I recently purchased an 06 WDP and dislike the way the red tails look with the WDP color. The red look good with some of the other colors, but not WDP for some reason. I am looking at going with the Type-S tails when I add the aspec kit.

The best looking tails on a white TL would be the base 07/08 taillights since they have the white center portion. Looks perfect!! If you dont like those then I say the Type S tails, then lastly the base 04-06 tails.

the fact that they light up pink...and not red the design isnt bad, but the color is horrible. just my opinion though

I've got an 05 TL as well, looking to put the 07-08 tails in. But, before I go through all that, I've thought about getting the tint.

Anyone have any comments or photos about tinted tails on an ABP 3G?

WDP and 07 Base is a match made in heaven. I think the RED looks good on NBP but thas pushing it. Clear Tails FTW.. haha.

i just threw up in my mouth when i saw the taillight eyebrows.

i have wdp and the red look amazing, imo. my tails are super clean though - no scratches or blemishes whatsoever. the chrome from behind the red makes them almost blink when the sun hits them.

my taillight mod (in about 6 months) will be buying brand new oem type-s tails, cutting them open, and colormatching the black outlines wdp. I can't really say I like the clear mod, and I don't like type-s tails on wdp. And I like the ruby red reflectors. So this would be the perfect hybrid. Just gotta get some other projects done first.
