Above the "average" age...
Well just got my calculator out due to curiousity...it seems that there are 36 people (so far) on this subject with an average age of 37 years old...
I am 46 years old, so I guess I am "over the hill" compared to everyone else here....
Oh yea, one poster said he was 16....sorry did not include that one, because I found that really too hard to believe....

37 and waiting on my Black over Quartz Nav 6SP. Currently driving a 94 Accord EX 5SP. Problem free and still clicking along at 93K. Looked at TL for quite a while but wanted the manual. Considered a CL but have two little ones. This will be our 7th Honda/Acura product. Can't wait

I'm 33. I gave up a Integra Type-R when I got my Silver 6 speed TL. I must say that after 3 days of driving I'm inpressed with the power, handling, and most of all the braking. Those Brembos are the sh*t. I feel sorry for the automatic guys. My wife is dying for me to let her drive this car, but I told her she could have it in 18 months when I trade in our Accord. I can't imagine what Acura/Honda will have out then. This is such a big jump in performance and looks over the previous generation TLs. I will most likely be looking for another new 05 TL.

I too have a 94 Accord EX. Mine is Black with Quartz leather, 5 speed, 147,000 miles, and no door dings, scratches, or accidents since purchasing it new.
Car has been troublefree...nothing other than scheduled maintenance, and oil changes!
The Acura TL will sit in the garage (previously it was the Accord's spot), and be driven on weekends and family get together's while the Accord unfortunately has just been nominated as my daily driver (120 miles daily commute)

43, and rate it an 8. Funnest car I've ever owned. Handles well, feels the road, sound system is second to none, hands-free is great feature, and great lines. Friends that have 3 and 5 series definitely have cars that handle better, but we have the better toys! 3 was too small for me and $8k more (330xi) and the 5 is even more and handles like crap in the snow. G-35 is fun to drive, but just wasn't as nice as this car. Value factor is a 10 IMO.
deep green pearl/parchment 5AT w/o nav.

43 when I put down my deposit on an anthracite 6mt no navi. Hopefully I won't be 44 by the time it arrives (as far as I can tell, Oklahoma hasn't yet received a single manual yet)

new drivers shouldn't drive such nice car, or else u will just ruin it...
get a couple yrs of road experience then u may think of get a better, more powerful car...
i drove a buick regal for a couple yrs when i first got the license at 16...and it was a gd car for me to learn driving...and it wouldn't be painful if i damage the car...

44 and I rate it an 8 for fun, but I'm still in break-in. Value, though, I rate as a 10.
As I was picking up my car and getting my walk through, 2 octogenarians were picking up their green TL! They could barely walk to the car. I sure hope they drive like they walk (carefully), since the power under the hood of this baby, with slowed reflexes, could make for an ugly combination.

2004 TL Rating
I am 30. Just got my 2004 Acura TL, Silver with quartz interior and Navi/AT. I love the car. Traded in 2001 BMW 330Ci for it. Loved the BMW but the Acura is a really sweet car. I would give an overall 9.0 on the car. The BMW is a better drivers car but you can't beat this Acura with performance/luxury combination and all of the techie gadgets are awesome to a techie lover like me.

30 - not a TL driver yet, but just put down a deposit on a 6MT ABP/Quartz (non-Navi) and cannot wait.
Based on test drives alone I'd rate the car an 8.0. Once I get used to its moves, though, that could easily reach in the 9's.

I just turned 27. This is my fourth Acura. I had a 1987 Legend L/5spd, a 1988 Legend L/5spd, and have a 1993 NSX.
That means I have the only two stock 270 hp. Hondas ever made!

35. Thinking of trading the 03 A-Spec for the new 04. Not sure if it really is that much different. 9 honda's in the last 5 years including 02 TL Type S and 03 TL A-Spec. Wouldn't mind the 6 speed though.
