The hardest part of the day was how the dealer kept trying to get me to test drive one of the 15 type s on the lot... I have two years left to pay on my tl and Im getting married this summer, someone talk me out of this before I pick one up on Monday...

Thanks bro! With the wedding, moving out, and finishing college (a.k.a. student loan debt) I think im best off trying to get to 200k (if possible) with my 05. At 85k now. Trying to be grown up and make a mature decision...

 

Walk away from the Type S'....and no one will get hurt.

I've been doing the same thing, looking at S2000s when I know I can't afford to get rid of the TL. It drives me crazy!

 

15 Type S. Congrats (yeah dont buy extra debt with the marriage is a no no) . Not trying to go off topic but how many were 6MT.

 

like the others said, you already have a nice TL...you don't need a type-s.

enjoy what you have! debt-free is the way to be.

 

Do not look or test drive-pay off the tl you now own-

The RDX is an excellent choice for her. I drove one as a loaner car and was so surprised by how fun it was to drive. The turbo is surprising by how quick it kicks in. Tell her to be careful.

As for you- keep you car. Not worth all the money to upgrade if you're not in a position to upgrade comfortably. Spend some more money on mods and you'll be happy.
