Just got my aspec kit delivered from Heeltoe and i noticed something weird about the part number branded on the different parts of the kit. The sideskirts have part number 08f04-sepa-2m00-11. I tried looking this part number up online and nothing comes up. Can anyone explain this? Again, this is is the part number on the actual pieces and not on the box.

 

I personally haven't ordered any body parts for my TL, but I have on my old civic (like when i bought a new front lip) and I noticed that for pre-painted items, the part number on the part didn't match the number on the packaging. I assumed it had something to do with production, part has a number for pre-paint and then is sold under another number after paint, because most unpainted items I have seen have a part number on it that matches the part number its sold under.

All of the body parts are the same, the only difference is the color (ignoring the fact that there are variations on trim & years). So for example a 2005 acura tl stock OEM side skirt is the same part regardless of its color, so the pre-painted item would all technically be the same, but after paint they are technically different. Hopefully that makes sense, kind of hard to explain that through text.

 

what color is your vehicle? The part number is correct for 1st 8 digits 08f04-sep-xxx. The 3 x are your paint code I think you have all right numbers but hard tell without pics. I have installed 4 Honda OEM body kits and all have mapped 100% with part numbers on part to catalog.
