The weird out-of-place circle cut out on the front bumber
What's up with that circle cut-out thing on the front bumper?
Looking at the car from the front (facing the back), you can see a very obvious cut-out in the form of a circle. It really ruins the look of the front, IMHO.
I can't figure out what the heck it is, why it's there, and why no one else has commented on it to-date!
Any info appreciated.

Sherlock,
It's hard to RTFM when you don't own the car.
Thanks for the info. Seems like a pretty crappy place to put the tow ring. Does anyone else agree/disagree? Do any other cars put the towring in the front bumber?

I was wondering what RTFM was, and now that it has been clarified, that was fn rude, especially since so few TLs have been sold at this time.

tow spot
they are for short distance and only horizontal towing. There is a female bolt receptor in there and the bolt and eyelet are in the trunk over the wheel, it's for pulling it short distances like out of a shoulder or ditch or something light, not for hautling on a flatbed.
There is a much heavier duty tow ring under the bumper for full time pulling.
And getting the disc in and out of the slot is weird, I of course did it day one, and spent 10 mins trying to get it to sit right.
Yeah it'd be nicer not to have it though.
