I know some folks use these all year round, but it still seems odd having this thread / discussion in the middle of July...........

I'm gonna be blunt here...
BEST INVESTMENT I HAVE MADE.
Stretch your dollar, make it happen, they protect the carpet, fit very well and are durable. Best of all, when it comes to cleaning, take em out, shake, install. Seriously the best!

+1 on the digital fit weathertech mats.
I bought them for the wife's car back in 2011 and have never looked back. When I picked up my 6MT a few months ago, I was so stoked the car already had them.
Not sure if anyone has mentioned yet or not, but the only beef I have with them is if I'm sliding my front seats forward very far, for whatever reason (cleaning, dropping something, etc), the bottom of the seat comes in contact with the floor may and slightly bends it forward. Eventually it just snaps back into place and all is well. There never is any damage, just annoys me that they touch.
But the winters here get VERY sloppy and having these deep dish mats is a blessing. Nothing else compares.

Weathertechs are for sure VERY nice!! I have always used the OEM rubber all weather mats in my TL, but after a winter season I found they for sure let water and other junk over the edge onto the carpet. I recently bought my wife a brand new 2014 Highlander Limited and I drove over to the Weathertech store in Bolingbrook and bought them for her. They fit amazing, are super light weight, and clean very easily. They are so nice im considering ditching my OEM all weather mats and going to get another set for my Type S.

SHOstopper, those WeatherTech mats look !
I like the way they look, and would've probably gone with them if I could do it all over again... My car came with no mats (?!), so I had to order black OEM carpet mats. Then, found a used set of OEM all-season mats and placed those over the old ones (except for the driver's mat, where I removed the carpet one to secure the all-season with the clip).

I don't use them in my car but bought em for my wife's '09 Pilot Touring including the cargo liner.
Look nice & she absolutely LOVES them.
Says she will never not have them if/when she changes vehicles.

I have the OEM all season mats
Family members have had the weather tech digital fits, so I've experienced both.
The weather techs are where it's at...

I'm interested in getting some of the digital fits for my ride. There are many who say they have them but there are very few photo's of what they look like in the car. Please add some pictures for reference in the 4th generations TL's.

Maybe you should go to the 4th gen TL section then.

^^^you'll love them
If I didn't have the OEM ones, I'd definitely be getting the digital fits. They're great!

Only thing I don't like about the current ones is that they're only big enough to fit the standard floor mats in the car. This digital fit would cover far more area and be much more dog friendly as well, not bad for $79 + shipping either. I'll debate it over the weekend.

The only problem I have seen with mine, is that is gets so hot in Texas that the weathertech emblems on the mats have come unglued. Other than that, I love mine.

Here are 2 High Resolution Photos of my Weather tech's... Just for good measure.
As far as the Emblem's go in the hot sun, you have 4 options:
-3M makes a Heavy Duty Molding Tape that you could use. (03616)
-3M makes a Weatherstripping and Gasket Adhesive. (08002)
-Permitex makes a super glue called Dr. Bond. (81742)
-Permitex makes a High Tack Sealant for Rubber/PCV. (80062)
All of the Part numbers belong to Advance Auto Parts. Use Promo Code 'TRT30' to save up to $50 or 30% on select orders when purchased online. Then reserve for 'In-Store Pick Up' at your near by store, for no shipping costs.
Hope this helps.

I just picked up the rear piece. Can't believe I didn't go with it the first time. Fits great, very lightweight, and doesn't move around like my other floor mats did. I may have to pick up a set for the front eventually.
IIf you have pets or kids, then this is a must buy

Emblems came off both my digi fit mats within days of being in the car. Into the garbage the emblems went. These mats were a must especially last winter in Chicago, it snowed non stop and was below zero so the car wash was out, car was pretty trashed by spring but carpet was protected and like new when I was finally able to detail it.

I have WeatherTech mats too and love them, definitely do a good job on keeping the winter crap out of the car. I avoided the badge issue by putting the OE TL rubber mats on top of the WeatherTech ones. Get the protection and the TL badge on the floor. Win.
