WDP vs NBP

Title says it all... Which color do you prefer on a 2007 type s? The nbp looks beautiful at night, and the wdp looks amazing all the time. There are plenty of nbp's around but I can't find a WDP so I'm not sure if I should hold off...

I like NBP, but don't let anyone tell you black isn't a high maintenance color. It's a love/hate relationship.

As crabman said, get the one in the best state, color comes second.

Whilst a black car looks amazing when it is clean and polished, they are a pain in the arse to keep that way. As crabby said ^ there, it's your car but get the car that's in the best condition regardless of color.

Why are you limiting yourself to just black or white? If you aren't into anything too overly flashy like KBP or MRP, I think CBP is probably one of the best looking Type S colors that isn't one of the flashiest either. So with that said, I say neither of those choices :-D but no if I had to pick between black or white I would go with black I guess. I have had a black Type S and they look pretty cool. White cars have never really done much for me.

Color doesn't matter, just make sure you use premium gas.

A clean TL looks great in every color. But black will be harder to keep clean. But when it's clean it's fucking sexy.

There is a really nice looking CBP in my area, kind of dig how clean it I and stuff but WDP is just on another level of sexy!

This. How can I make sure the previous owner only used premium? Something on my mind when it comes to used cars.

You can't but from all that I've read on that other thread there is most likely zero damage done to the TL motor using regular gas. Only thin g that might be compromised is performance.

NBP is the way to go! NBP goes hard when it's clean. I try to wash my NBP every 2-3 weeks. Such a pain in the a$$ as others have previously stated to keep clean. Even a little water mark/drop will stand out on it. It's quite irritating. But my god is it a beautiful color when it's all clean and polished.

I own two legend coupes. One a black and the other a pearl white. Like others state, the black is nice when clean, which is within about an hr after washing it. Lol. The pearl white just always looks great. But it is your preference

My 08 TL is black. It's my first car.

I will never own another black car in my life.

Go with wdp. Nbp looks meaner but is hard to keep clean and hides all the smooth lines of the type-s. Wdp contrasts so well with all the dark accents of the type-s and looks amazing at night.

WDP
The black portions of the front and back ASPEC looks wayyy better against a white paint. The curves are also easiar to notice. Any lighting also bounces off white alot better. Scratches arent so visible.
The carbon would be the best type S

I have a Carbon Bronze Pearl and it was on the lower end of the colors that I wanted. However, after seeing it up close in person, I wanted it and I had one hell of a deal for it. It's crazy how much the sun and time of day almost changes the color of the car, especially when it's squeaky clean.

The TL is the second car I found a deal too good to pass up and I got it. Don't regret it.

As a Silver TLS owner I'd say it's the safest and probably the classiest color to own and very easy to keep a clean 'appearance' even when dirty, WDP was my first choice before I got a great deal on my Silver Type S which was my second choice. I couldn't be happier with it.

NBP is a no go for many reasons for me, I just don't think it looks good on TL's, few people in here can/have pulled off the look depending on their setups.

Thanks everyone! Yeah I'm convinced to go with the WDP. Guess I'll have to wait ;(

http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/ctd/4850467531.html

That is the link to the CBP I found, very clean other than some marks, and very cheap. If I would've went with a CBP I would've gotten this one.. If anyone lives in the Seattle area and is looking for one here you go!

The CBP is very pretty... Its just the WDP is calling out to me. Hell, if there isn't a great deal on a WDP within two weeks I think I'll jump on it.

Woah. The carfax is incredibly clean... And it has one owner.... Hnmmm....

Meh. It just doesn't have the same feeling as the WDP. Thanks everyone! Sorry for the multi replies ^^^^

I've owned two black TL's for 11+ years now and my next likely won't be black, but probably won't be white either.............

A white TL or Type S, when clean, is beautiful. Black looks good, but it's too hard to keep clean.

I meant never going back to another color, lol.

I feel like black is just really classy and looks great rolling around at night. Yes it gets dirty easily, but that doesn't really bother me anymore.
