WDP stain
WDP stain
My WDP TL was taken on an extended trip. After getting back, I washed all the bugs off the front. There was a large purple bug splatter that will not come off. When I run my fingers over the area, it feels as smooth as can be but I can't wash the stain off.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Are you saying they're stuck at your engine hood and the front bumper?
WDP seems so easy to have stain sometimes, but darker colors has swirl effect instead.
I hate those bugs, always wipe them out after driving at night on the coutryside roads though... this could make them easier to be cleaned...

have you tried using bug and tar remover. spray it on the area and let it sit for a couple of minutes. wash off thoroughly and then use clay bar on the area if it has not been completely removed. WD40 also works well but will strip the wax off the surface of the car. you should also wash thoroughly after y the stain has been removed. wd40 is not good for the finish of your car if it stays.
I tried WD40, no luck. I don't have a claybar but I'm not sure that will help. The stain seems to have gotten into the paint since the area is smooth and doesn't feel like it is on the surface.
