WDP/NAV, Lets say after 3 years/Trade in value
Ballpark, lets say ive got about 18,000 miles and the car is
in near mint condition in all aspects. I keep all my cars superbly
and do not drive them at all on rainy or bad weather days.
always garage kept.. How much do you think acura would
give?

3 year lease is based on 55% residual and 36k miles, so i'd say about probably around 20-23k private party, plus maybe 1500 for your low miles, so around 24,500 private party sell. Since were buying the cars at a discount, that affects the resale value of the vehicle as well... When a vehicle is sold at invoice, you didnt necessarily get a great deal, because your depreciation has been affected by that discount as well.....

KBB basis's their resale value on the vehicle's average sell price across the board. Every monday morning, all dealerships submit to their mother home(NISSAN,HONDA, TOYOTA) whatever company it is, how many vehicles they sold, what type of vehicle and teh sale price for the past weeks sales. KBB and other resale guides then take those numbers, average them out and figure out how much the average paid price for the vehicle was for the year, and come up with resale values.... thats why it normally takes about 4-6 months for KBB to post up new car resale values. There havent been enough sales for them to average the resale value yet....
