Way to disable trunk release on key fob
I keep coming out to my car and seeing my trunk cracked open. Its not dependent on where i am so i know its not someone doing something......is there a way to disable the trunk release on the key fob or in general (i must be hitting it or something)....?

It must be something else because you have to hold the button down for a little bit before the trunk will open.
There is no way to disable the remote from opening the trunk, but you can turn the switch in the glove box off so the button on the lower dash won't work.
See if that helps, and if it does, there could be a short in the switch or the wiring somewhere.

my experience
on my old truck the panic button was right under the lock. i just opened up the keyless remote, removed the rubber button, in your case the trunk button and placed a tiny piece of electric tape over it. never had a problem with it again. hope that helps.
