Water on Garage floor after Hot day (AC had been running )
Wife pulled out the TL yesterday and there was a fresh water spot that had appeared on the Garage floor. It had been hot the day before and the AC had been running is this normal to discharge water from the vehicle .
Thanks

Yep, perfectly normal. What freaked ME out is I do woodworking in my garage. I am working with a cherry wood, and left some of the waste on the floor when I parked. Pulled out, ran back in for something and saw RED FLUID on the floor. Turns out it was the AC water mixing with the cherry dust.
But as for the water, don't worry about it. Thats normal.

just curious what car you had before your TL? because ever since i can remember with the cars that my parents have had AC condensation puddles after a hot day.

Not a Blowhole
I had a car where the condensed water actually dripped onto a portion of the exhaust system, where it immediate boiled and vaporized. So I never had puddles, but i did have a weird hiss as the drip/boil phenomenon played out.
I always wondered if that was a coincidence, or did an engineer have a cool idea?
If you were stranded in a desert without a water source, you could run the A/C just at sunup, and collect the water - might save your life. Even though the RH is low in a desert, it is high enough to condense on the cold lines of a car's A/C.
I read once about a guy who survived because he had a big tarp in his car. He had the good sense to use it for shelter during the day, but at night, as the air cooled, it would condense on the tarp. If he folded it just right, he could collect just enough water to keep him alive - he was eventually found many days later, and had it not been for his good sense, he surely would have died.
