TL two weeks old..when driving for a short period of time with lights on(any position) the chrome escutcheon plates on the steering wheel gets warm. No lights in the wheel that I know of. Reflected heat from dash? Anyone have this experience and the answer?

yup, the interior looks pretty nice at night! especially if you turn the NAV brightness to low.

 

Yes, there are lights behind the buttons that generate a little heat.
