Waiting for a jump again.
Once again I am waiting for a jump start. The battery is a highly recommended battery and though its the second jump I've needed in several months it still 2 jumps too many. I've owned three cars since 1988: 88 Dodge Shadow, 97 Mazda Protege, 2005 TL. During all of those years I've never had a problem with the Mazda. The Dodge, as you can imagine, was a piece of crap but it was easy to repair. I don't recall any problems with the Mazda other than the usual wear and tear. And of course the TL had its share of recalls.
I hope I left the trunk open I'd hate to think its an electrical problem.

Could be parasitic drain from a malfunctioning HFL unit. Several threads on this along with a potential DIY fix. After your car has been running for a while, reach up and feel the overhead console where the HFL unit is located. If it's very hot, you have an HFL problem and most likely the parasitic drain issue as well...
