VSA Issues!!!!!

We had a terrible thunderstorm today in O-town and it left the road very wet. I noticed when I accelerated my VSA light didn't turn on at all. When I press the VSA button the light turns on which signals VSA is off. When I press the button again the light turns off which signals VSA is on. That works fine. When I was alone on the road I floored the car to see if the light will come on to let me know that the VSA is working and it didn't come on at all. Has anyone expierence any problems with this?

the car has to detech wheel slipage and then it will active. IT blinks when it is activated when slippage is detected. To make sure the system is fine, go to an open field with dry dirt that has alot of room and floor it, the car's wheels not get traction and slip, causing VSA to engage.

I forgot to mention this when I pulled out of a parking lot onto a main road I floored my car into a turn. The front wheels slipped but no light came on. I guess its not working then. I'm getting so close to my warranty expiring and a few things have been breaking under warranty.

did they just chirp or did it skid continuously? you have to do it so the tires loose total traction and it has to brake on them to control the traction. The VSA can be disabled sometimes at very low speeds and especially if you encountered torque steer.

When i floored my car I felt the wheels loose traction. I started noticing this a couple of days ago since it started raining heavily in my area. When I first bought my car when I stomped on the gas I can hear the wheels peel out the VSA light would come on, but now no light. Has anyone heard of this breaking and getting it fixed at the dealership?

courtsey would reply, we can't test it legaly so your out of luck... just try it in a dirt patch that you won' hit anything in and see. A dry dirt road would work to...
