Vsa?

This is my first post as I have been doing A LOT of reading on this forum. I have had my 04 tl for about a month now. I traded my 05 tahoe for better gas mileage. Anyway, no manual came with the car. Can some one tell me what the VSA is? Also, are the passanger and side air bags always on? If anyone can think of anything else important with the featurres, let me know! Thanks!

VSA is a stability control for the car in slippery conditions. You should check ebay and see if anyone has a manual for sale. The car also has sensors to check if anyone is sitting in the passenger seat.

If ebay doesn't work out for you, you can buy not only the OEM owner's manual and quick start guide from Helm, Inc. (http://www.helminc.com/helm/homepage.asp?r=), but also the service manual, body manual, and electrical troubleshooting manual. They're not cheap, but they are the real thing. If I wanted the nice pouch they are supposed to come in, I'd check with some Acura dealers' parts departments. Enjoy your '04. I love mine, despite a few rattles.

Well, the 04 doesn't have the passenger airbag sensor on the dash. I thought that was new for 05...

lol, yea. I read somewhere where it detects not enough weight in the seat, which turns off one or some of the airbags. It was kinda annoying with my old g/f, because the light came on a few times, even though she weighed 89-91 lbs.
