I saw a caynne in my mirror. I wasn't sure if it was Turbo or not so I was being cautious, letting him pass me first. When he passed me, it was not a turbo.

So I SS'ed to 2nd and caught up to him. At next light, we floored. By 50MPH, I had 1.5-2 cars. He had wifey/girlfriend/working girl in psgr seat.

 

Those CaynneS are slow and heavy. The turbo ones are completely different beast. Good kill!

 

Nah man not at all. They're just as fast as the TL with a 0-60 time of ~6.3 seconds. The Cayenne S is faster than the TL at speeds over ~100MPH because of the V8. Pretty damn quick for a heavy SUV if you ask me!

 

You are right, I was thinking about the V6 Caynne when I was typing. The CayenneS runs high 14s in the quarter mile which is pretty close to the TL, however I think a stock 6MT TL should still be a tad bit quicker in the 1/4mile.

Even though the CayneenS have 340, it is almost 1800lb heavier then the TL which makes a pretty big difference.

i had to deal with a Cayenne S on the way home from work today...i passed him after merging on the highway and didn't think anything of it....well after going by him, he decides to catch up to me and stay pretty close on my tail...once i had some open road in front of me, i dropped it to 3rd (we were already doing 75-80) and left him with no problem...caught up to some traffic, so had to lay off after a few seconds...we get off the highway a few miles down the road and he's going the same way i am...we both turn left at the intersection and i blow by him in the right lane...he tried to switch lanes with me, but couldn't keep up...must have not been turbo...
