Voiding My Warranty
This may be a dumb question to most of you but I was curious as to what mods void the warranty. I know Acura and Hondas in general are known for the extensive modding possibilities and I see a lot out there. (Which is one of the reasons why I'm getting one). So should I take it because I see a lot of stuff that it doesn't void anything, or does it? Please respond as I'd like to hear what you guys (and girls of course) have to say.

depends on the mods. engine mods are usually not a good idea if you're concerned about the engine warranty.
i recently brought my car in for warranty issues with a set of eibach springs installed and they didn't say a thing... except that it looked good. i was complaining about vibration and steering alignment, which could easily be blamed on suspension mods. they were cool about it.

Exhaust and an intake should be okay. A software upgrade may not be. I find it is best to have the conversation with the head of your local service department before you mod the car, so you are not surprised later.
BTW, while Hondas/Acuras in general have a lot of aftermarket parts, the TL is not your average Honda in this respect. Prior generations had relatively slim pickings in mods, and the new TL has very few mods available, although some are obviously in development. Comptech should be coming out with an exhaust in the future.

usually the honda and acura dealers are a lot more mod friendly than the nissan and vw/audi dealers..some of the vw dealers belittle you and make you feel like **** for modding ur car
