Viper 791XV Remote Starter

Anyone have this starter installed? Is it possible to have this installed in a 6MT?

A few years back I was going to buy a remote starter for my roommate as a Xmas present and she had a 5-speed manual Jeep. All the shops I called regarding installation said they do not recommend a remote starter put on a manual transmission for safety issues. My guess is that they would have to install some sort of clutch override switch which might not be the safest things in the world if it lets go and the car is in gear.

Just my $.02 from memory a few years back.

CompuStar definately support manual transmissions.
I think you simply put the car into a special mode after you park.
You then take the keys out (with the engine still running) and then get out.
When you close the door, the car locks and the engine shuts off.

Unfortunately compustar are one of the more expensive systems.
