Just curious if anybody out here knows when the first year productions bugs were started to get worked out. If you have a car and it has had some hicups please post your vin and mileage, and if your car is running like a champ please post your vin and mileage I appreciate it. Im looking to buy and possible by a demo or a repo or someone who just doesnt like there car.

My VIN is 29XXX, mileage is 2.5k....and she's running like a champ! I still smile every time I climb in.

 

Hard to say exactly the best VINs range. Maybe cars after 3xxxx have better quality and less problems??

 

The only "know" issue that I am aware of is the seat memory problem. It has been documented with an Acura TSB. It affected all VINs from 000001- 018746. Here is a post with a copy of the actual TSB.

Keep in mind that problems are hit or miss. There are those with really early VINs that swear that they haven't had so much as a squeak. Some with more current VINs (the latest is in the 49,XXX; I believe) have reported problems with the build quality. I don't have mine yet (it was supposed to be in this week), so I don't have anything to report; positive or negative. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Hopefully you will get some response.
