Just got a call minutes ago from my dealership and the ending VIN nbr for my Anthracite/Ebony/AT/Nav is 15924. I believe the build date was Nov 28/29. I should be able to pick it up tomorrow after they add the tint. I'm going over there tonight and lick the handle.

an Acura has-been
16,000 in two months, wow, at that rate they are going to be well over 60,000 a year, almost 100k.
They are really pumping those out!
btw, mine is built 9/26, vin in 1,600's

Great question, Nicki
Just a guess, but let's see.
15,924 was rolling off on 11/29.
Figure Acura ramped up the line around 9/8 for initial drop-ships to make a launch date of 10/6.
That means they've been running 9 weeks.
So around 1,775/week -or- 250/day -or- 10/hour

But, due to the lack of Navi parts, the production should be reduced a little bit.
Mine was born 10/12 with #4608.

This also involves the discount issue as you've described. More Non-Navi will mean more discount for customers. I'm not sure if that's Acura's alternative strategy to sell more cars.

I pre-ordered mine, so I picked up from their allocation list, which tells you when your car builds, what VIN is, and when it may arrive to your dealership, etc.

There aren't many boat docks in Ohio, where the car is manufactured, Gregory......

21xxx seems about right.
Mine was picked up on the 19th and has a VIN of 14467 so the 21xxx sounds about right for current models coming off the trucks. The 12xxx & 14xxx's have to be dealer stock from last month from the looks of it. Man, that's a lot of cars. Guess we will have to get used to seeing lots of them on the road in the near future.

I picked up mine on 1/4/04. VIN 210XX. Anthracite/Ebony + Navi 5AT. Had a rattle in the steering wheel but it was just the horn assembly. Have slight rattle in the passenger side door but I haven't been able to duplicate it regularly for the dealer.

Since need4spd said probably TLs prior to 12xxx would have check-engine-light issue, I don't say it's for sure. You can try to rev your engine at 5k RPM for 5 second, then you will know if you have this early-built common problem.
I'm driving a lot among Manhattan, Queens, and LI. You should get better and staight roads in where you're. Enjoy.
Your vibration seems pretty normal, you should be fine...
