Very low mileage clean '08 CBP Type S 5at (central FL)
I know I dont browse these forums much anymore after finally selling my 16K mile 6mt Type S (which I do miss BTW), but I still have a custom search on my iphone through cars.com that alerts me to low mileage Type S's. What looks to be a very nice example of a 08 Type S recently popped up at an Audi dealership near Orlando. 19K miles, one owner, no accidents. Based on the pictures all the important things that I typically check for look good. No curb rash on any wheels (important because sometimes I gauge how well someone takes care of the car based on how destroyed the wheels are). Rear emblems are all located in the correct spots (almost everytime after an accident a body shop puts them just slightly in the wrong spot).
Basically, if any of you remember how anal I was with my Type S, if I were in the market I would probably buy this one site unseen. Great exterior color, interior color is the Taupe which might not be everyone's favorite, but the car looks sharp. 5at, but again, not everyone wants manual. Price seems fair based on what I see and the cars history especially from a dealer.
I asked my wife if I could buy it just for the hell of it and I think she wanted to slap me. She said you just sold a 16,000 mile red on black 6spd Type S. Absolutely not! yeah, she has a point

It does look nice and mint.
Don't care so much for the parchment interior, as you mentioned, but think I could put up with it for a beauty like this.
And "Just add tax, tag, title, and $699 dealer document processing fee" dontcha just despise that dealer document fee? Yea, right, it costs you (dealership) $700 bucks to handle documents...... right. Pure profit, on top of the profit.

Yeah, even though I do prefer the Ebony interior, I was amazed at how perfect the drivers seat looked. That's another reason this could be a very good car. Most all Type S's with the Taupe interior the seats are absolutely destroyed looking.

Very much agree...... I think I was fifty or so before I truly learned how to take care of my skins.... I can envision that this TL-S was a one owner, seldom-driven central Florida owner's "baby"....one of those that we are always searching for when it's time to make a move. Almost the first place I look at on NSX's - the driver's left side seat bolster speaks volumes to me about how the unit was cared for.

Always wondered why the type s models even came in automatic. Makes no sense to me.
I remember when i was lookin for one.. it was always so frustrating to find a perfect TL then see it was an auto -_-
