Valve cover gasket replacement

Valve cover gasket replacement for a 2006 Acura TL is this a DIY maintenance you can do yourself or do you recommend taking it to a shop? Lowest price I got just for the replacement is $450 which is a bit too much to pay rn. I’ve done simple maintenance on my car never something like this.

Only advice i'd give is be really careful tightening the bolts. Theres a order to tighten them, and the bolts aren't made of the best material (my assessment after breaking one) and if you over tighten in the slightest they will snap - and suddenly a simple job becomes much more complicated. (I believe the service manual says 8.8 lbs, but IMO thats really pushing it)

I'm late but when you're installing the spark plug seals, lube the seals and the mating surface with silicone grease. You can then just press fit in the seals with your fingers. Theres not enough space to hammer them in without denting the valve cover. Your also more likely to tear the seal when hammering it in.
