Valve Caps?

Still have the shitty grey ones that came with the tpms sensors. Anybody recommend a nice black chrome or gunmetal tire valve caps (preferably antitheft)? cant believe these would be that hard to find...

Since the 2004 doesn't have the TPMS, I use Accupressure caps. They're green unless the pressure drops below 30 psi, in which event the color changes. They work great on the back, but on the front it can be hard to see the color because of the brake dust.

I bought some chrome ones before, but they weren't anti-theft...because they were stolen! LOL! If you find some, let me know ok. Somebody took one of mine already!

Isn't there something out there saying that Acura is using the gray plastic because metal ones have caused a corrosion problems in the value stems? Where the hell did I read this?? Mostly likely here but where???

Last year, Acura sent me 4 plastic ones to replace the OEM metal ones on my '05.

These sound awesome, I never knew such a product existed. I'm definitely looking into these...

Just a FYI. I had some caps put on my old ride/rims and them things seized on to the valve on me. What a pain to ge them off. Should twist them every so offen to keep them loose and probably best to take them off during the winter. I think it was the winter that locked the caps for my case.

I think that would be a little redundant since your car has TPMS if I'm not mistaken. Then again, it would be a cool little subtlety that would add something to your car. I also think the product is cool, though.

Like Leedogg, I'm looking for something to jazz up my valve caps. The ones I had on my last car (1998 Accord) were just like the ones that darksom1 posted -- same manufacturer even -- but those were stolen. One thing I've learned about stuff like this is that if people want it, they're going to take it. That's why I haven't gone back to custom caps yet....but thanks to Leedogg for perking my interest again!

We need a smiley on here that shows a guy forking out money.

Here's their site. The things are a bit pricey, but I've found them to be reasonably reliable.

Your right, the early tpms vehicles had metal caps on the valve stem, which honda later discovered that they would indeed corrode and become hard to take off, this is why they replaced them with plastic caps. Im pretty sure that there is a honda/acura service news article on this!

I picked up a nice set of aluminum caps at pep boys. And believe me I looked around for awhile. They were cheap and look good, have a hex shape to them.

I have these and I really like them. I bought them somewhere else and I paid more, so this looks like a good deal.

Right, no TPMS for me, and it's a feature that I would really like. I even looked into aftermarket wireless systems, but they are several hundred bucks. I'm a gadget geek.

I'll try the above mentioned valve caps, and see how long before they disappear and are on some kids bike in my neighborhood!
