ahhhh this sucks i have the older version where the lights are half powered.... when i got mine over a year ago it was kinda a pain in the butt! they first sold me two DRL harnesses then that didnt work only one ligth came on and DRL light was on then they said i needed the resistor set up so i got that back then but the lights are so dim that even during the day time its kinda hard to see that they are on pretty much a waste of $$ i wish they had some more of the new version available then it would be worth it

I am confused by this comment...when you buy the 99 dollar kit you get 2 led bulbs 2 resistor harnesses and an hid wiring harness. The resistors plug into the factory harness then into the hid wiring harness as a right and left trigger. It is my understanding that this new hid wiring harness can be used to power any bulb you want. The relay on the hid wiring harness even says hid right on it. Did you mean you can't plug the resistor harness right into a halogen bulb? I would agree that wouldnt work...

I couldn't imagine why you can't use this harness to power HID's or regular bulbs. The OEM DRL sockets just switch the relay on, and then there is a full 12V provided to each socket on this harness... It's not like the current draw from a regular bulb or HID would cause any type of problems with this.

I would like to state though, that while the harness could work with regular halogen bulbs or HID bulbs, I forgot to mention that these bulbs do burn hotter than the LED's, so you can run the chance of melting that area of your headlights as the original halogen bulbs ran at a much lower voltage, so be warned.
While it's do-able, it's not recomended.

here's a few quick pics I took of my TL-S.. Loving those Daytime Eyes!
I know they look blu-ish.. but it's Crystal White (in between 5k & 6k)... same goes for the Interior LEDS.. those are 5k LEDs.
What you guys think?

WhiteTLS, mine are 5k, I am guessing yours are 6k? Mine look very white to me in person. I have 6k bulbs inside and they still don't look as blue as your interior, maybe because I have the black/grey leather. Strange... I plan on doing the backup lights next. Man I love VLEDs! I used to hate my DRL's now I LOVE THEM!

Hey WhteTLS
How many LED's has your bulbs. I've been looking around and I find a lot of 18 led's and 68 leds. I founf a few of 30 leds and 28 leds.
Let me now to see which 9005 LED Bulb I should buy.

that would be sick if they could make a harness to run drl's with the reg headlights at the same time!!! it would be double hid,(if drl's had hid in em) man that would kick ass!!!
is this possable to make ?

are you using a DSLR? if you shoot in RAW, you can color correct your photo to the flourescent lighting to show a more accurate color of the LEDs. Im pretty sure the pics dont do it justice.

I installed mine today. They look great but I noticed the driver side is a bit more brighter than the passenger side. Its a minor difference thats only noticeable if your looking for it. Does anybody else have this issue?
