this artical shows in a simple and easy way how to make your side markers be used as a signal light too.

Actually I remember someone in the forum had already done it, but cannot remember who.

You might try using the search feature, but it may have been lost during the server crash also.

Easy search...

Side markers can blink by need4spd

I'm not sure how far you can see they're blinking, but it's pretty cool.
