Can this be used in conjunction with a leather conditioner?

303 is a great protectant with a good amount of UV protection in it. However, as far as applying to leather, I prefer an actual leather conditioner. The 303 tends to leave a slick surface on the seats as opposed to a conditioner which leaves a normal or somewhat 'tacky' surface.

There are many great leather conditioners out there such as Pinnacle (has a great leather smell), Lexol, Meguiars etc. That would be my suggestion based on past experience. The 303 won't hurt anything and may actually protect longer than a conditioner but, again, it's personal preference.

How well does 303 work on the dash with the TLs penchant for fading? Does 303 leave a shiny, slick surface or a muted (non-shiny) and non-slick surface?

What is the best product for the dash area?

I believe the issue with the 'faded dash' is more of a cleaning issue rather than a protecting issue.

Lexol for leather, it has cleaner and conditioner that works well.

I want to use 303 for my dash, but I am having trouble trying to find a local store that sells it. I recently went up to my Acura dealership to get them to do my dash for me, so I am riding on that waiting for the 303! Does anyone know of a MAJOR retailer that stocks it? Not that you THINK stocks it, but that you KNOW stocks it?

No....., It's actually a chemical breakdown in the plastic's at a sub level caused by sunlight, in which can be prolonged by covering with window sun blocker's,and certain silicon protectant's , I used "EAGLE ONE Tire dressing on my dash of my last car and worked great, but Iapplied a thin coats!....for the TL , I'd use "ARMOR ALL''protectant, tinted window's isn't a cure all either, also use the sun shade's on the rear window's would also help , I seen alot of faded rear seat's even with tinted window's!

I wouldn't use armor all because of the distilants in the compound. Stick to 303 because of the UV protection. Or use other professional products......

I googled '303 protectant', their web site has a function to find a retailer by zip code.

I've heard that the dash cleaning stuff provided by the dealer does a decent job.

The 303 Aerospace protectant is great-- it leaves a factory type matte finish when the excess is wiped away.

I had a minor "dash fade" issue last year and haven't had to use the 303 a second time, even though I didn't clean the dash (some people such as Leedogg^^ recommend using the Honda/Acura or other vinyl cleaner first, then using the 303).

You can also find it on eBay - sometimes cheaper than the retail stores.... :-)

I use 303 almost everytime I wash my car. I first use a microfiber cloth (Target) to dust everything off, then I apply a coat of the 303 with a terry cloth. I then use the microfiber to work it in and even it out. I use it on my entire dash and the black pieces on the doors. It looks great without being slick or shiny. I bought mine at a boating store in Philly..I don't remember the name.

I like the Honda stuff in the little balck bottle. It works great on Leather, plastic and Vinyl. It's like 7 bucks a can at Honda or Acura.

The Honda stuff works great on the dash problem.
