Urgent shipping question

Hey so someone is shipping me a rear bumper for my 08 tl from Arizona to where I live in edmonton Canada. We got a quote and the price was 270 which was a bit much and ultimately not worth it. I was wondering if anyone knew a cheaper way to ship it or maybe throwing it up on eBay and me buying it through there would be cheaper(because I've heard shipping through eBay can be cheaper because of there connected to USPS and ups). Please help I really need the bumper thanks

freight cost for bumbers are around $150+/- here in the states. So $270 to canada sounds about right because of customs. Your best bet is to either find one in canada or drive to the states, buy it, and bring it back or have it install right there.

Again, I shipped a bumper via Greyhound packaging for like, $50-60, about 800 miles.

Shipping by truck would be cheaper than UPS, Fedex or USPS, but shipping time would be like a slow boat to China. You can buy a new bumper through the dealer for less that the $270 shipping.

Greyhound is a surprisingly intelligent alternative to standard shipping providers.

Or road trip.

Cant you find the bumper locally for under 200 bucks? I know its not the same, but I've bought the bumper, fenders, and hood for my Civic brand new for under $100 each at local shops.

all three of those companies use trucks for shipping....

but OP Fedex does offer international ground to canada, not sure if thats a cheaper way of shipping than what you looked at though
