Umm - Is this for real?

From time to time I look on Cragislist for 3g TLs. I came across this:

https://battlecreek.craigslist.org/c...227105919.html

I texted the seller and they stated that the $1,000 price point is confirmed. If I wanted to see the car, I can set up a time to meet them.

Despite this being the shadiest thing since 8 mile came out, should I actually investigate or walk away? The post is less than one day old.

Well absolutely... I'm more or less thinking someone could part that thing out and make a decent chunk of change for a cost of$1,000. It has custom-made front grills, an A-spec lip kit, and monitors in the headrests....

Yeah, no joke. That crap is annoying. I actually had the opposite happen to me last month. I posted an advertisement on Craigslist for some brand new dishes I received as a wedding gift. I listed them for dirt cheap as I was unable to return them (I figured I would do someone a favor).

I received a Nasty Gram from Craigslist saying that my post was marked as spam and it was removed due to the price mismatch. However, my post was actually legit lol.

PS - Nice new avatar justnspace. Although, I do miss the Santa Clause hat.

I see stuff like this all the time on Craigslist. I had one that posted here in St Louis but just moved to Nebraska and said I had to contact ebay or some bullshit.

Contacting ebay? That's a new one 314_04TL .Obviously a sense of discretion is needed with all online postings. You just never know what you'll find.

I remember during my senior year of high school, my buddy bought a 2005 Grand Prix GXP back in 2010 for like $3,000 or 4,000 with approximately 38,000 miles on it.The seller was an old lady and she said her husband always drove them places. She hardly ever got out anymore and she was moving into a retirement home. She just wanted to get rid of the car. The Craigslist post was actually legit, despite our large skepticism due to the low price.
