So I'm at Home Depot in the rent-a-truck area and the guy behind the counter sees me pull up in my SSM TL.

HD Guy: Wow! Cool car. Is that the new Pontiac?
Me: Umm... no, not really.

HD Guy: Really? Is it the new Chrysler I see on the TV all the time?
Me: I'm gonna go with no again.

HD Guy: So what is it?
Me: It's the new '04 Acura TL.

HD Guy: Oh... well, them Acura's are pretty good cars too, I guess.

 

Well! The guys at home depot know nothing about home material or tools for that matter. How do you expect them to know about car?

 

I remember many guys in G sites saying the same thing. They think 04TL looks like Pontiac... :smackhead

Some of them even said they cannot tell the difference if they tail 04TL in the high way...

 

when that guy sees a TL next time, he would ask if that is a Pontiac... he knows nothing about cars.

 

Not really an insult when it comes from an IDIOT!!!! :tflamer:

 

You're in michigan... they dont like other cars besides the GM / Ford / Chrysler.
