...such an inconveinence.
They used to do it all the time here when the imports were killing families street racing in heavy traffic. I was all for it. My friends in the CHP got a quick course in what to look for in illegal mods and especially engine swaps. I was never harassed in the GN other than them wanting me to take off hard lol. The favorite thing to do to the imports was to get one with an engine swap and require them to go to the smog referee which would then put the car out of commission until they put the correct engine back in and could pass smog. Sounds like harassment but I remember when those guys were killing people and ruining the whole scene in their slow cars. You can have muscle cars with 600+hp without a wreck in 10 years and a bunch of idiots in imports totaling out a 100hp Civic.
Sorry for the rant but I completely understand the cop's point of view. Oh, and the light in the eyes, that was to see if you were sober.
Want to talk about scary, try driving past a portable smog/dyno on the side of the road with a cop stationed there to pull over the cars that showed high emissions when driving by. They were then subjected to a smog test right there. I was headed right toward one of these things with no cats, no egr, and leaded race gas. I killed the ignition in time and coasted past right in front of another car. I had actually considered running if I saw the cop pull out.
Sorry for the rant but I completely understand the cop's point of view. Oh, and the light in the eyes, that was to see if you were sober.

dude i live in RICE city westminster dude theres not a dam honda that isnt riced up around my area i know a few of my homies have s13s and eks i used to roll with em when i had my G20 and one time we drove like literally in front my school ( i lived 1 street over) to get home and as we were going i noticed there was lights i called my friend with the s13 cuz he ran a RB motor i told him its a dyno so he slowed down on the gas then called my homie with the ek he was running some headers and intake with a very loud exhaust the moment we rolled up i pass by the G20 looked more family type then a rice car so they just told me keep going they pulled my friend over with the ek and asked him to get on dis dyno he got smogged and failed my homie with the s13 jst straight out took off hauling ass passed the cops. He went home and parked the car in his garage i swear dude he was shittin bricks now that i drive the TL i only worry about the tint in the front windows haha my friend has repainted his car 2 times xD to avoid this they always put up randdom smog checks in my area ALOT lol

It's nice having a legal car, the stress level is a lot lower. I can remember a couple occasions parking my car for a couple weeks in the garage being too afraid to drive it anywhere but no details on here lol. It sucks having a rare car that's easy to spot. I got in a little trouble at the mall, a 240lb guy shoved my GF at the time, long story short I ended up leaving in a hurry and didn't make it home before I got pulled over. The cop spotted the car and said mine was the only one in town they knew of. That was my first and only hate crime as well lol.
g20s p11 body style are hard to find so i was kinda rare in my parts plus the fact i had ILOVEHATERS sticker and green neon lights with blue calipers but w.e i kinda miss having a fast car sucks abut ur gf gettin pushed
