Ua3 > ap2 s2000
So I'm driving home on Sunset Blvd., just cruising and hitting all the lights when I come up on this MC~ E46 328i. He starts to hit the gas only to hit the brakes a few seconds later for the next light. I'm thinking to myself, Why bother? It's a stock 328i. After two blocks of this, he gets to the right lane because lo and behold, an AP2 S2000 (something actually worthwhile) is in the middle. The S2K and I are accelerating normally and this E46 is still trying to pick a race by mashing it at every light. We ignore him.
So we approach the last light before the road starts to curve around the lake. The S2 is starting to get on it. I let him go on ahead knowing we were too close for it to turn green before getting to the line. We both get there and the BMW tries to cut off the S2 to get through the merge. He had looked at me at the light and I had a feeling that it was on. Sure enough, he punches it and I hit it shortly thereafter. We both leave the E46 and I'm gaining on the S2. When I had started, my bumper was at his rear wheels, then his mirror, then ahead by a bumper as we got to the turn. We enter at about 7 for me, 6 for him, and I let off. I pass him completely on the inside, and as I'm exiting, I get ready for the next turn by accellerating out and tapping the brakes before throwing it in. At this point, I see in my mirrors that he's not taking the turns nearly quick enough, and I'm on my hazards. Although he kept trying, I passed him again on the outside of the next turn.
When we got to the second stop light afterwards, the driver of the S2K threw a thumbs up and I threw one back. Glad to know that I can pull an AP2, even if it's only a walk. Not too shabby for blown-to-shit shocks, haha.
Oh, and needless to say, after the E46 saw what had happened, he didn't try to pass up the S2K until we got onto the freeway, where he took another route.
~Cheers~
P.S. Two-lane-ing is for bullshit. Even though this is two lanes in one direction, how are you supposed to master control over your car if you've got such a big area to move around in? That's like comparing elementary school writing paper to college rule. Granted following racing line would indeed get better times but this isn't a track. What if you had to do some accident avoidance but you only know how your car will react with two lanes at your disposal instead of one and traffic? One dumbass friend rear-ended someone that way.
Sure as hell saved my ass when my car's rear swung out through the park approaching Fulton and I drifted the last turn. Cars behind, next, and one car ahead of me. I forgot I had traction on so my car bogged when I tried to tap the gas and maintain the slide, but I got enough out of it to go smoothly through and stop straight behind the car at the light.
/Rant
P.P.S. Why are the titles changing case?

A properly driven AP2 is good for low 14s.
Good kill.
Theorectically, what time do you think you could run at the track?

If (ever) my '97 TL ever needs an excuse to have the motor replaced...

Not really, but I can't change it because the new sig rules don't allow for long sigs.

No, that was the time with the C32. With the C35, I trapped higher but also ran the same time due to tires. There's a reason the 15.5 is below the C32 dyno numbers, and I don't recall blowing the HG on the C35 yet...

Thanks for the compliment!
Oh and BTW, the S2K driver (obviously) wasn't that good if he lost in the turns to me, but you can't deny my pulling on him from a low roll.

I have to look for my timeslips, but IIRC it was around 93 or so. I took them out of the car when I was cleaning and misplaced the whole stack, .
