Type S wheel response from Acura

I've been in love with the Type S from the moment I saw it. The exception to that being the wheels. I'm still not clear why the base TL wheels are not an interchangable option with the Type S wheels. Seems like a no brainer to me so I sent Acura a suggestion about it and got a response.

Not at all what I wanted to hear, but figured I'd share it here anyway.

The standard dealer reaction thus far has been less than favorable. In their credit they have all been very open about it. If I don't like the wheels, odds are many people don't. They have no desire to get stuck with wheels no one wants.

Ferget the base wheels....they should be puttin on nice 18s stock. And they wouldn't even have to go to the drawing board, at least they should slap the Aspec 18s on as stock. When you're paying 38k it's only fair.
