I have a 07 type S and I just picked up base model splash guards, Will they fit on no problem or is there modding i need to do?

 

You will need to mod the splash guards.

 

Base ones will not fit properly on an S car. I found out the hard way. Fortunately the dealer did take them back even after i had installed them. There are terrible gaps around the edges & they looked really bad installed.

I don't know how you could mod them. If you have, will you respond here & let us all know?

 

But will the Type-S flaps fit the unofficial Type-S for '04/5/6?

For the type-s splash guards, you need type-S or ASPEC side skirts for the front wheel splash guards. For the rear splash guards you need Type-S rear bumper.
