Is this a Type S A-spec?
Hello,
I'm looking to buy a TL and this seller says that is car is a Type S A-Spec but he changed the mags... He says that the type S A Spec doesnt have the "black" tail lights, the 4 exhaust and no spoiler... is that correct?
Thanks in advance for your help!
(it's a french site but just look at the pictures aha)

It's dirty is what it is.
There's no indication of Type-S-ness... All exterior features (bumpers, tail-lights, headlights, trunk, exhaust, grill, sidemarkers, wheels, color of the car) all point to base 04-06 TL. There isn't even a Type-S in 2006.
Side mirror's missing on one side.
What's the VIN?

I thought it was an obvious enough joke, I guess it's a little difficult to read sarcasm through a message board.

Fixed. I just assumed you were being sarcastic even without the red text... but just to be safe, don't anger the sarcasm police.

I fixed it for you. You somehow typed 2 instead of 8. 18k for a high mileage type S is possible if you don't mind going a distance to get it.

you will never find a 3g Type S for less than $15k, unless it very high mileage with crap title. Here are some add near me hope that helps.

Can you tell if the vehicle is TL Type-S by VIN?
I bet..it's 2004-06 TL Base since the rear sidemarkers on the vehicle are RED, as far as I know, Type-S sidemarkers are smoked.
