Hope this is in the right section; anyways, I've been looking into getting a type s rear aspec kit - my rear bumper's being swapped, along with the rear aspec spoiler, out after the THREE accidents I got into. is there ANYTHING i need to worry about? fitment issues? i heard something about cutting into the bumper??? planning on swapping out for the atlps...

U have to cut the muffler exits. In addition, you need to come up with a solution for the lower opening. I have a base 07 so what i did, I bought the Types Mesh garnish that belongs there, and screw it to the base buper.

Same model and color, but different rears.. Mine is infront

here is the opening i am talkign about, some have put metal grills. since the base 07 has a grill there.. i took it out and replace it with the types mesh grill... not direct fit.. but i made it fit.

But if you are swaping out bumpers.. why not just get a type s bumper..its a direct fit... and come upainted. Now the type-s rear.. doesnt come in AM so you will have to pay extra to get it painted.
