Type-S Pedals

It's prolly too early to ask but does anyone know if the Type-S Pedals will fit on an 06? maybe even without drilling?

all pedals will have to be drilled, you have to screw the screws that hold them on somewhere. I think I read somewhere they fit

I paid 222.xx shipped for the Type S side markers and pedals. I think the side markers were $105, so the pedals would about $117. I will post pics when I get a chance.

brake and clutch - 46545-SEP-A01
gas - 17800-SEP-A01
I seem to remember, them telling me one of the part #'s was wrong. But they knew what I was talking about. Call Hondaacuraworld.com to find out.

Guys not sure if your intrested but my sets are 149.99 delivered and they are made of better qulaity then the stock ones plus you get all pedals including the dead pedal. Let me know if intrested I can send out a set right away. I have pics all over the boards on members rides.

I'm going to have to agree. I just went into the dealership last night and looked at the pedals on the 07 TLS and they look pathetic. I was waiting to see them in person to decide which I was going to get. I'm definitely going to be contacting Supercomputers to get the pedals from them.

btw, the pedals on the TLS are only the brake and accelleration (5AT). The "dead" pedal is the basic rubber.

I want the dead pedal. You can't believe how much I use that on my Cobra. It's amazing how it makes the car "fit" you so much better.

- to Supercomputers pedal kits. Much nicer than the OEM... and I prefer OEM only mods. They look great, match your steering wheel metal finish, included dead pedal.

I'm suprised the TL-S owners aren't selling thier pedals for these.

I do think supercomputers pedals look pretty good. But I was just wondering about the Type-S pedals for ease of installation, you know? But I guess if you gotta go drillin' with the Type-S ones too then I'll go for supercomputers. But then again the type-S are 117. I just don't have the flow right now to get any of em! Anyone got pics of both? for a race pedal shootout?

Dave,

This may sound dumb but does the dead pedal also need to be drilled? Thanks.

I think Supercomputers pedals are better looking too. His has the Acura name and logo, while the OEM ones don't? The OEM ones don't even come with a dead pedal, so it's clear which one is the better option.

Just ordered my pedals today from supercomputers. When I get them in I'll take them into the dealership and get pics of them side by side with the '07 pedals. I already know which ones I like but it may help others decide.

How well do these pedals handle slippage? I live in a rainy area and when wearing rubber soled shoes and doing heel/toe I don't want to slip off the brake.

My Pedals Have Perfect Grip the Inserts Really Work Well. I cant speak for the TLS Stock pedals as I have not driven one yet. In the rain with mine you will have no problems. They really help your grip.

These pedals look fantastic - I'm already reaching for my debit card to get a set for my new 06 TL!! They look sharp especially since I have Silver with a Quartz interior!

No problem. Got the pedals installed and am loving them. I'm going to post another thread on them sometime soon as I have some additional pointers on the install from what was in the black market forum. It'll have to wait till I have some time to put it together properly as I am using my time now to get prepared for the road trip home starting on friday. 1400 mile round trip should be plenty to break in those pedals!
