Type-S MT for $34,000 possible

According to Edmunds, Acura is offering $1,500 marketing support. So do you guys think it'll be possible to get a Type-S MT for $34,000 incl destination...

IMHO, no. At least not until the '08's come out.

Keep in mind that list is $38,795. Many can get down to ~$35,500 - $36,000 But you don't know what Acura was/is throwing in to get to $35,500.

I just don't think you can take a really good deal you've seen ($35,500) and just deduct the "new" $1,500.

YMMV

That may be tough to do.

I just recently purchased a 2007 TypeS MT for $35850 with 3.9% financing and thought I got an excellent deal. That 'Marketing Support' advantage can't be used with the special financing offer and the financing will take you farther than the $1500 in the long run. There is absolutely no way that an Acura dealer will let a TypeS go for $34000 even with the rebate.

IMHO i think it is possible if you try hard enough. Especially in So Cal. I notice you live in Torrance,CA I got my TL Type-S early last month for $34,175.00 before tax, title, license with a 3.9% APR at Power Acura in Torrance, CA. Talk to Jerry Ede he's the internet manager. They are nice and friendly people there.

2007 Acura TL Type S

I just received an email from an Acura dealer stating 2.9% financing available on all models; 2007 Acura TL from $30,000; 2007 Acura TL with Nav starting from $32,306.00; 2007 Acura TL Type S starting from $34,137.00; plus RDX, MDX and RL's. It's possible to get the 2007 TL Type S for $34,000 inc. destination charge.

I'm sure it's possible but it's going to need a tough bargainer haha, the cheapest TL-S ive seen here was like 35,500 or 35,400. Good luck!

As long as you dont use the 2.9%/4.9% financing then yeah its possible without the dealership loosing money. $1500 dealercash. $762.50 for holdback and invoice is $35,637.58. But I dont think a dealership would want to do that only if there very desprate for a sales. It also depends how many mt there are out there and the demand of them

Man this makes my deal of 36000 that was negotiated last night look like a bad deal. I'm sure now they can go further down. I'm going back today for paper signing.

You got an excellent price! I leased a 2007 TL Auto - December 2006 at First Acura. Got the price down to $30,900. Now, I'd like to trade my 2006 Accord for the Type S for $34,000.

It is possible. I actually got my Type-S at an INCREDIBLE price because I got 10 different dealers' internet sales departments competing with each other, then forwarded the emails to each other to get them to beat the best price. Plus, I walked into the dealership on the last day of the month on the last day of the quarter, so they wanted to up their sales numbers quickly. I would say the actual price I got, but they swore me to secrecy. Let's just say it was a little less than what you are saying usc55... and with a few options. No lie!

Yup, I've heard that price mentioned a couple times from Texas Acura dealers. I figure with the current dealer incentive, that gives them about $500 bucks over the net invoice, not counting the holdback. Seems fair.

Anyway, to address the question in the OP, yeah, I think you could do it. Some people have made stunning deals on '07s, and if you can play enough dealers off each other and you're a decent negotiator, I'll bet you could make it happen.

Dont lease this car, you might as well go lease a 335XI because the numbers are similiar. 34 thousand in New Jersey HA no way!!! In Texas or other Dealerships down south Like Florida.. MAYBE.. I made the deal for 37 thous, and then sales tax was 2600$ for Good Old New Jersey! And plain and simple, if you got CONNECTIONS, you can make things happen. Go low blow Acura and make them write a negative Deal. The 2009 Model is coming out next year with AWD make sure you tell them that when your talking about the Price.

I got mine last November for $36000 in Socal with the protection package and a few other things included. That was a good deal back then. Now with the '08 models coming up I can see $34000 possible. The way I see it, what's important is that you are happy with the car first and the deal second. There will always be someone else that gets a better deal, so don't sweat it and just enjoy your ride.

I just bought a red 2007 TL type S auto with splash guards and all-seasons matts for $34,000. That's with the $1500 off. I traded in a 98 CL for $3500 . Sweet deal?

I passed 700 miles and am starting to get a feel for the power. Gawd I love this car!

There's a special program lease on TL's right now including type-S. If you are really considering a lease, email me at glorialee@niello.com.
It's actually one of the best specials I've seen. Our acura dealership is located in Sacramento, CA. check out the inventory at www.nielloacura.com

It's possible if you're in an area with a lot of Acura Dealerships. (I live in Socal)

I got my 07 TL-S in June for $34,650 with trunk tray, cargo net, mud flaps, & wheel locks. Also, 1.9% APR!!!

Utilize the Internet, it helped me figure out the starting point of my negotiation.

A few weeks later, the Power Acura in Torrance, CA emailed me with a quote of $34,127.

Doh!
