Hello. I am going to be swapping my base TL headlights (2008) with headlights from a Type S TL (2008). I was wondering if there would be any fitment problems in either cars?

Thanks! Yeah we swapping the headlights with everything intact. Although my TL has 25k miles his TL S has 46k miles. Maybe we should swap the ballasts/bulbs since mine are newer .

you'll have to mod YOUR harnesses to fit the type-s wire harness.

LOL. I am confused I thought my turn signal bulbs would not fit type s headlights. Thats why I said its a straight swap. Would the person I am trading with also have to modify his harness/holder to accept my base headlights?

 

just take off the connectors on both cars and repin them to the other. problem solved!
