I've been reading about clearing the insides of my headlights but I looked at the ones on my car today and it seems like the amber piece is a lot smaller on the Type S... I can actually see the amber bulb in the housing its not covered by anything. Has anyone with these different headlights cleared them? I've searched and yes there are a ton of DIY's but none seem to be the Type S.

 

its basically the same exact headlight. i've cleared/blacked regular and type S TL's lights... on the regular TL, the whole plastic piece is amber, on the type s, 3/4 is clear, 1/4 is amber.. you can actually interchange them (put Type S lenses in a regular TL) , or follow the procedure for clearing/blacking out that is shown in the 3G garage
