TYPE S Factory kit

im new to this site and new to the TL community and i just had a general question .. is there any modifications required to fit the type s factory kit to a regular TL? or will it just fit directly to any year? i have an 06 to be specific. Thanks. - Jol-

you need a tls front and rear bumper ... so you will need foglights for the front as well otherwise the car will look incomplete. its better to go with the 06 front lip because it looks better than the type s, IMO ofcourse. and swap the rear bumper for the type s and get the rear lip type s version because IMO is the best lookin rear lip of all the 3g tls

You can fit the typeS rear lip onto your 06 bumper with some custom work of cutting with a dremel...

Thanks guys i'll keep those things in mind. but i think i'll end up buying everything instead of customizing things.. i just feel better knowing i haven't altered an OEM piece.

Yup, there's a DIY for retrofitting the Type-S rear bumper onto your base bumper.

If you plan on buying everything, that's a good route, but just more expensive.
