i would suggest getting the fram fresh air breeze filter with activated charcoal and arm and hammer baking soda to absorb some of the nasty fumes while driving. it's around 14 bucks on amazon as well and comes with free shipping once you go over $25.

I've been using the TYC cabin filter on my TL and on my wife's MINI. I got them at www.atozautolights.com for about $6/each.

Very worth it. The car smells fresh. I've noticed if I pick up fast food and it's a long drive home, when I get back in the car it still smells like food. With this filter it doesn't smell at all assuming you're running the air the whole time home.

Thanks for the input guys. I bought my TL from the dealer a few months ago but i will have to check if they changed that filter or not. possibly not. So i wanted to order a filter to replace it since i will have everything open.
