Two-Tone TL spotted in B'ham area
Going home the other night and coming down Argo-Margarett Road is a sweet two tone 3rd gen TL. It was night but it was either dark blue or black on top with a high body seperation to silver at the bottom. Dark wheels probably 19's. Just seeing if they were on this forum, and to say great looking car!!

I'm pretty sure there's much more TLers out there.
2 of my coworkers drive them (both had A-Spec kits installed). I bought a Type-S 2 months ago. Surprisingly, I found 2 TL Type-S's as I was getting off from work. 1 silver and 1 dark red. I know for a fact that the owner of the silver one works at the same place as I do.
At one point we were driving right after another. But I got on I-20W. Both TLs kept on going towards Pell City on US-78.

I gotta meet up with you sometime type-s09. Looked at your video on the other post. I don't plan on racing with my TL, but it surely looks interesting. My NSX friend would have loved that kind of event though.
Keep me posted on any events coming up. When I get some free time, I'll come down/up with my NSX friend and see what's up.

Bracket racing sounds interesting. I haven't done that in 12 years, back in the day in Englishtown, NJ in the old Saleen.
What does a bone stock TLS do in the 1/4 mile? would it be in the under 14.99?

Auto....
That gig in Montgomery sounds pretty cool, I think I will make the trek. Where can I read up on what exactly is a CAI? And shit like that. I wouldn't mind doing some bolt ons...

haha...CAI is cold air intake..good thing is you have me close by to help you with your mods..ive installed everything on my car myself and it seems to be working out well...ive got some almost new H&R sport springs if you wanna buy em..they give a 1.4" drop and it rides better than stock...we are leaving sunday early to go to montgomery if your down..should be a bunch of cars...also we usually go to the "street races" every saturday...there usually bout 100-200 cars out and it makes for a good time..no exactly legal but safer than drinkin and drivin if you ask me..

Just saw this thread and wanted to check in- another Birmingham TL'er.
2004 Silver- When I first got the car, you would never see any TL's on the road in Birmingham, but today, they are all over the place!
