Question Turning off the nav voice

Has anyone found a way to turn off the nav voice? I would like to have a route entered so I can see the ETA. However, I don't need the voice constantly interrupting the radio with directions that I already know.

AFAIK the "turn voice feedback on/off" feature in the setup screen only works for the voice commands.

Didn't you just answer your own question.

In the setup screen #1, you can set the Nav Voice to OFF.
You then see the display of your route, along with the ETA.
But it doesn't interrupt your music.

Is that what you want?

Turning the "feedback" voice to off only stops the system from answering back your voice commands before executing the command. (radio, nav, climate control, etc.)

It does not turn off the nav system from speaking the directions and reminders ("take the first right in 2 miles, turn right here, stay on this road for 5 miles").

... at least that is my experience. Is your experience different?

No, I have the same problem... When you turn off "turn voice feedback on/off", the navigator just doesn't respond (or confirm) your voice input. It still gives voice directions if a destination has been selected.

I see it now. I was using the "Voice Feedback" command in the Setup screen number 3. From your post (and a quick trip to the garage) I now see the "off" in the volume section of the setup screen 1.

Thanks for pointing me to Setup Screen 1.
