Turning 30 .... Now What?
'07 TL-S will turn 30,000 miles soon. MID is at 20%.
I expect the MID code to be B2. That means:
I also plan:
Anything I've missed that is not on the MID at 30k/B2?
I expect the MID code to be B2. That means:
- Oil & Filter Change;
- Tire Rotation;
- Various Inspections (brakes, susp, drive belt, etc);
- Change Cabin Filter;
- Change Engine Air Filter (clean the CAI filter for me).
I also plan:
- 3x3 Trans Fluid Change;
- Brake Fluid Bleed/Flush;
- Alignment (freebie).
Anything I've missed that is not on the MID at 30k/B2?

Definite 3x3.. better safe than sorry. The brake fluid can wait.. up to you though.. that's pretty cheap & easy but I heard it's better to stick to the interval (3yrs & every year after) to reduce chances for air to get in the system, but it shouldn't be a problem if you're careful / have a one way valve.

Use the Rock Auto cabin filter, HA5 is the part number; its carbon activated to help reduce any odors that may come through the system. Also many people don't realize this, but you will need to treat the seals on the car.
Take some water and get some on a towel/rag. Wipe the door-seals down and then dry with a dry towel. Follow up with some 303 protectant sprayed on a MF towel, start at one point, go around all the way and end at the starting point. Remember to do the seals on all 4 doors and door jambs, and the trunk seal.
After you do the trunk, you'll notice it pop's up a bit more.

Brake fluid because I changed up to DOT 3/4 high temp for a track day in March. Since heating them up something fierce (the "ACURA" on the Brembos yellowed), I've put off bleeding them. But it is probably needed.
:lol: 50k for me on this one, I think.
