lol I live in Oregon and saw that on Craigslist recently and had the same reaction.

 

Engine's probably toast.

the stock exhaust has been jacked!

 

nice spot. I bet there was a aftermarket exhaust and it was removed and parted out prior to sale and either the seller or the dealer just whacked on the cheapest exhaust they could find.

same thing with the shift knob.

I think I remember seeing this car posted here on AZ somewhere. It's been a while though.

 

I like the A pillar gauge pod It's custom, probably bought it for a Civic and made it work on the TL. You can't even tell it wasn't made for the TL

 

Sometimes dealers remove the shift knob so it doesn't get jacked while on the floor.

On another note, wow that's crazy. I wonder what kind of HP it's putting down.

 

It looks clean, nice wheels and the A pillar cluster is interesting...

That doesn't look as bad as I was expecting. The exterior looks real clean.

Seats and all look nice as well. I put a bid in / jk.

I would be really leary about stepping into that nightmare though unless it was well documented and had access to previous owners mod list.

 

Is that the V2 version of the J&R turbo kit with the cold side facing the front or is this some home made kit? I would be worried about a home made setup because it's very doubtful the necessary steps to making it reliable were taken such as the ECU, fuel pump, and injectors.

the turbo kit itself is 8-10K installed....

 

it is the jandr v2 setup. its this guys car. if nothing was removed from the car before giving to it to the dealer, then it has everything it needs (injectors, fic, fuel pump and tuned)

If the engine isnt worn out I bet its been beat to death by owner and salesmen, car porters, etc.

 

Someone got a steal assuming they did everything right when putting the turbo in. The dealer had it listed on Craigslist for $25k. There was no reserve on the auction though so I'm not surprised.

 

I think the shift knob and exhuast tipswere removed because folks have a tendency to steal them.. just my guess

 

Seems like a gamble. Owner was probably driving it hard. I'd like to test drive it though.
