In preporation for my drive home in my new TL, I want to go out and buy a new dvd-A disc.

What is your favorite DVD-A disc and where did you buy it from?

There are several threads on this topic if you do a search ....
BestBuy carries a decent DVD-Audio selection.
My favorites are anything from Queen!

Enjoy your new TL.

The sample CD that comes with the car has various types of music. If you like what you hear, get a DVD recorded by one of those groups/artists/

Congrats on the new car

Adrea Bocelli sings Verdi. Faith Hill, Fleetwood Mac, take your pick they are all excellent!

Flaming Lips

The Flaming Lips re-released Yoshima Battles the Pink Robots in a CD+DVD-A two disc set. They made a point to really explore the possibilities of 5.1 audio. I think it's great, but I've never seen it mentioned here before.

Oh, and you'll always find it in the CD section of a store, even Amazon.com.

Buy.com has a suprisingly large selection. The search takes a liittle effort, but prices are reasonable and you can probably avoid shipping and sales tax.

Best prices are from deepdiscountdvd.com. They take 10-15 days but offer free shipping and do not charge until they ship. So if you are not in a hurry they are inexpensive.

Queen's "The Game" is great, and Sting's "Brand New Day" is flat out amazing. By the way, I play Metallica in my new Acura, too. The Black album sounds pretty good. I got all of mine so far at Virgin Megastore.

Eagles Hell Freezes Over Marvin Gay has a good one too. I listen to those two the most.

Blue man group is excellent for hearing the individual speakers. It is purely instrumental. I also have the Metallica one.

Definitely Steely Dan's' "Gaucho". Of course I am a Dan fan.

It was re-mixed for 5.1 by the same engineer that designed the TL sound system.
